Yet another interesting school trip under my belt. And by interesting i do actually mean interesting, not interesting. It was all in all a cool trip.
It was a 'Classics' trip (latin and romans, and such.), but anything with a subject in front of it as a trip for the school in the lower years where you don't wear uniform is just a holiday. Period.
We went to italy, to stay in the town of Sorrento. It was a very pleasent place, but as ever with these school trips (I'm talking about this one and my one other previous school skiing trip) it was more about the people we were staying with, ie our Mates.
Yes, yes, the Museum at Naples was Class, the ruins at Pompeii were awesome, as was Herculaneum, Paestum was cool, but all this stuff was just that, stuff. It's always really interesting, enojoyable, and occasionally shocking to see all the people you think you know taken out of thier element, wether that be school ot thier house (the usual enviroments you'd see them in.) and chucked into this new situation, with people they thought they knew too. Hee hee.
